Mith Jayamohan

Physiotherapist | Senior Rehabilitation Consultant | AMDRAS Accredited Mediator

Mithunan Jayamohan is a Physiotherapist and Rehabilitation Consultant in Sydney working for over 8 years. He holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Physiotherapy from Western Sydney University and is AHPRA-registered and an APA member. He began his career in musculoskeletal and aged care physiotherapy. As Senior Physiotherapist and Team Leader at Physiotherapists Aged Care, and later Clinical Manager at SeniorCare Physiotherapy, he oversaw services across nine residential aged care facilities, mentored clinicians, and delivered manual handling and falls prevention training to nursing and care staff.

Since moving into occupational rehabilitation in 2023, first with IPAR Rehabilitation and now with Actual Rehab, Mithunan has built a strong record in helping injured workers return to safe, sustainable work. He manages a caseload of 35-40 claims, completing workplace assessments, job task analyses and return-to-work plans across a wide range of industries. He works closely with employers, insurers and treating practitioners, and consistently meets both quality and outcome targets. His clinical background gives him a practical understanding of injury and recovery, which he pairs with a focus on building trust with workers and resolving barriers early in the claim. As an AMDRAS-accredited mediator, he also brings formal dispute resolution skills to the difficult conversations that often arise between workers, employers and other stakeholders.

Outside of work, Mithunan is a co-founder of Jayamove Group Fitness, founder of Alpha Nutrition, and co-founder of the not-for-profit clothing label EelamWear. He has a long-standing background in fitness and competitive bodybuilding and represented Sri lanka at the 2018 OzTag World Cup. Mith also speaks Tamil.
